We opened our boarding business in 2007, and here’s why. Or should I say, “Who’s why.”

Meet Boo Bear. Boo died of a rare bone disease just a few short months ago. He was with us for only 6 years. His leaving our lives instilled a need and desire in our family to continue the legacy of the powerful impact Boo endowed upon each one of us. The space in our hearts that Boo Bear continues to live in will never be filled by another, but his memory will be honored with the special care we will promise to embellish upon each and every dog that comes into our home as a boarding guest.

Boo Bear is why we searched for ways to honor the amazing legacy of memories and love he left with us. We are now involved in dog rescue work and have since evolved our passion into boarding dogs in our home. The personal care and attention that will be showered upon your pet will not be matched by any other.

We understand the apprehensions that both owner and pet got through as they part for that short period of time. We also understand that each owner and pet will express and deal with these apprehensions in different ways. Not to worry! We will be available to you 24 hours a day for the entire time your pet is with us. We expect that you will be calling to see how your pet is doing while you are away from him/her, and we welcome those calls. Remember, we are pet owners and know just where you are coming from!

We commit to moving forward in new and innovative ways to make your pet comfortable, and in putting your mind at ease. We also encourage you to bring Fido’s favorite blanket, toy or teddy bear with him. It is also helpful to leave an article of clothing or towel with your scent to help ease his anxieties. He’ll feel better knowing that you are close.

And there’s nothing better than a little comfort food. When we feel sad or under the weather, what’s better than a nice big bowl of chicken soup? If you think it would ease Fido’s apprehensions, leave his favorite food, treats and toys with us.

Here’s another exciting service we would like to offer your pet while he or she is staying with us. Because our boarding facility is located on our home property, Fido will have lots of play time in our big backyard. And if he isn’t interested in playing with other dogs, not to worry. We have individual outdoor runs where Fido can romp and play. Not to mention the personal play time he will have with one of our volunteers! And after a hard day at play, Fido just might need a soothing massage to release some of the tension. We have many willing hands that are just waiting to embellish our love on your pet to help remove any anxieties he may feel.

And when you come to pick up your best friend after your vacation is over, wouldn’t it be nice to cuddle him close to you and breath in the fragrance of a squeaky clean pup? Just give us the word, and we’ll make sure Fido receives a bath, massage included, the day you are going to pick him up.
